What to Do When Receiving Shopee Orders?

When the rider arrives to deliver the order, the following are the procedures to be followed once the parcel has been received by the customer, if you choose Cash on Delivery (COD), you must present a legitimate government identification card, as well as the exact amount of money, which you must hand to the rider. Non-Cash on Delivery (Non-COD) orders must be claimed by presenting a valid government identification card.

When the following circumstances are met, the buyer has the right to refuse to accept an order or parcel:

  • Clearly visible signs of tampering on the order’s packaging (unsealed packages, damaged packaging).
  • A mistake has been made in the shipping information provided on the air waybill (AWB). This could indicate that the package you have been handed does not correspond to your order.

Please keep in mind that you will not be able to return the opened parcel to the rider. For products that are broken, incorrect, or incomplete, you can seek a Return/Refund instead of replacing them. You can, however, touch the “Order Received” button in your Shopee App if you are satisfied with the condition of the product you have received.

Keep in mind the following:

  • By clicking on the “Order Received” button, the payment will be released to the Seller and you will no longer be able to request a Return/Refund from the Seller.
  • Orders will be released to the seller once the Shopee Guarantee Period has passed, and the “Order Received” button will no longer be displayed, indicating that payment has been delivered to the seller.
  • If you have unintentionally clicked on the “Order Received” button, you will not be able to request a return or refund for your purchase. Please contact the vendor as soon as possible.

What to Do When Order Status is Delivered Yet Not Received?

  • If you have not yet received your item but the order status indicates that it has been delivered, you can take the following steps:
  • Double-check that your shipping address is right. On the order details page, you can see where your order will be delivered.   • Double-check to see if any other recipients (such as other members of your household, security guards, receptionists, or lobby employees) have received your order on your behalf.
  • Third, if the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Rider has contacted you through phone call or SMS, you should try contacting them to inquire about your package. The incorrect labeling of orders could possibly be the cause of this problem.
  • Attempt to get in touch with the Third Party Logistics (3PL) company who delivered your package and ask for proof of delivery.
