Today is an exciting day as we officially announce our new brand name, Ginee.

Ginee, which stands for Global Intelligence and E-commerce Engine, reflects the great strides we have made in building an omnichannel platform to help merchants easily grow their business — all in less than two years since our launch  in early 2020.

Today, more than 70,000 merchants across Indonesia and the Philippines use Ginee to do e-commerce. Our platform has served over 58 million active consumers and has processed over 120 million orders with a total gross merchandise value of more than USD 1.3 billion dollars. We have also integrated Ginee with all major e-commerce platforms in the region, including Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, Bukalapak, Blibli, JD.id, Shopify and Woocommerce. Many of our merchants are small and mid-sized enterprises in Indonesia and the Philippines, who have had to urgently digitalize operations in order to succeed in the post Covid19 digital economy.

But we are no longer just an omnichannel platform enabling merchants to manage their business on different marketplaces, as well as inventory, storage and delivery logistics. Our new brand name reflects our vision to broaden our merchant support in the following ways:

AI-powered data management platform (DMP): One of our new merchant solutions is our AI-powered data management platform, which will enable merchants to conduct precise data-driven marketing by collecting and unifying first- and third- party audience data from any source, including online, offline and mobile data. Merchants will not only get a real-time overview of their operations and portraits of their customers, but also predict customer demand based on sales data.

Launch of Ginee Ads: Another exciting development is the launch of Ginee’s digital marketing platform, which provides merchants with a full suite of multi-scene and multi-channel advertising solutions to improve return on advertising spend and boost sales. They can access solutions including Tik Tok Catalog Sales Ads, Facebook Collaborative Ads, Instagram, Google Shopping and YouTube Ads — all without having to leave the Ginee platform. Now, merchants will be able to not only manage their business on different marketplaces through Ginee, but also be able to plan, launch and manage digital marketing campaigns with precision and efficiency.

Regional expansion: As part of our strategy to help merchants grow their business, we are expanding into Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam by the end of the year. By leveraging our regional APIs and partnerships with all major ecommerce marketplaces, this will enable more SMEs to grow their business by finding overseas customers in the region.

Our new logo

Our new logo symbolises the endless possibilities in the e-commerce world as we move towards a digital future. The colour of the logo has also been made a softer shade of purple, to encourage more merchants to embark on their e-commerce journey with our accessible, easy-to-use and intuitive solutions.

Thank you to our merchants again for their trust in us since our launch, as we continue our innovation and expansion to provide best-in-class e-commerce solutions across Southeast Asia. Even with a new brand name, one thing remains unchanged: to make Ginee affordable and accessible to all businesses, so that they can make their businesses smarter and advance with intelligence for a better tomorrow.
