What is Shopee Seller Fees? 

One thing you shouldn’t neglect in your Shopee selling is the calculation of revenue relative to the fees applicable to your potential sales. Shopee seller fees are essential to be able to accurately create a forecast of how much you’re going to earn from your venture.

Shopee Malaysia sellers are subjected to a 2.21% transaction fee. There is also a service fee but it only applies to sellers who are associated with certain Shopee programmes.

Does Shopee Take Commission?

It is also worth mentioning that the orders placed before 1 June and completed on or after June 1 will not be charged any additional fees.

  • Preferred seller’s product priced at RM100 after a RM10 discount promotion (original price RM110)
  • Buyer redeemed seller voucher worth RM30

The commission rate fee is subject to 6%SST. So, the final commission fee from the scenario is RM1.48. The commission charge fee will be deducted directly from the seller’s payout.

Do I Have to Pay to Sell on Shopee?

The Seller Transaction Fee is a handling fee that covers the cost of the payment transactions. Starting August 1, for every successful transaction using Shopee’s payment services, Shopee charges 2% (+VAT) of the buyer’s total amount. This also applies to orders tagged as lost by Shopee.

How are Shopee Transaction Fees Calculated?

All local Shopee Marketplaces (Non-Shopee Mall Sellers) and Mall Sellers are charged a small transaction fee to cover payment gateway fees by the services providers only when a successfully completed order is made.

Transaction fee is calculated as 2.12% (after SST) of the final order amount paid by buyer (inclusive of shipping fee), rounded up to 2 decimal places. Shopee will deduct the transaction fee automatically from the seller’s payout when an order is completed.
