Participation in a Respectful Manner

• You agree not to publish or share any content that is libelous, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or inflammatory in any way on or off the internet. Avoid using curse words or profanity, and expressing hatred or intolerance for persons on the grounds of race, ethnicity, nationality; gender or gender identity; religion; sexual orientation; age; or handicap; and refraining from promoting groups that hold such viewpoints, among other things.

 These engagements are not restricted to communications within the Lazada platform, but also involve communications outside of the platform, particularly when representing the Lazada brand outside of the platform.

• There will be no uploading or sharing of sexually explicit content: There are some products on Lazada that contain sexual material, as well as some sex and sensuality products (for more information, please see our Prohibited and Controlled Products Policy), and we welcome customers to share their opinions on those products through product reviews. 

Users within the Lazada Community may be sensitive to some types of sexual content, such as nudity and sexually explicit photographs or descriptions, hence this content is not permitted.

• Do not use derogatory language or attack others depending on whether or not you agree with their viewpoint. Promotions, Spam, and Posting of Content 

• Do not publish or share any promotional messages, information, URLs, apps, QR codes, or any other content that does not belong to Lazada or its subsidiaries, including but not limited to: contests, giveaways, and contest entries.

• There shall be no spamming, constant self-promotion, or posting of unrelated links on any communication space inside the Lazada platform at any time. Do not spam any users in Lazada channels or cause any other disruption to the service. 

This includes, but is not limited to, sending them unsolicited email, sending them unsolicited orders/packages/mail, adding them to mailing lists or group chats, messaging them unrelated content, asking users for personal information that is unrelated to transactions, and taking actions that result in a denial-of-service attack on the system they are using.

• Do not submit any content that contains software viruses, pests, or other potentially dangerous code or code.

Respect the Privacy of Others

• There is no information that you should divulge that you are not permitted to divulge. You should not, for example, disclose other people’s phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, or other personal information on the internet, nor should you post links to phishing or other malware websites.

•You are not permitted to upload content that violates the terms of this agreement. Examples of forbidden content include, but are not limited to, the following items: 

• Content that encourages, threatens, or makes light of physical or financial harm to yourself or others, including terrorism, is prohibited. 

• Content that promotes or advertises fraudulent goods, services, schemes, or promotions (for example, make-money-fast schemes and pyramid schemes) is prohibited.

• False information about lucky drawings or winning information is included in the content.

• Content that has been created with the goal of deceiving users into believing that it is an official Lazada event or business message.

• When it comes to self-injury or harm to others, content that is uploaded with a sarcastic tone is acceptable.

• Content that encourages or supports the potentially hazardous misuse of a product is prohibited. The product’s effectiveness is exaggerated in the description.

Be Honest and Real

All agreements established using any of the communication channels available on Lazada must be followed through on. You must complete all orders in accordance with the buyer’s specifications.

• You do not sell things that are not legitimate or that are misleading. This includes, but is not limited to, uploading product photographs that are different from the description of the product, which may cause purchasers to be misled.

• You do not take advantage of seller perks. You are not permitted to circumvent or abuse our engagement channels for the purpose of gaining personal advantage. You must also refrain from instructing or advising others on how to evade systems for financial advantage.

• You do not engage in anti-competitive behavior, which is to say, you do not engage in foul play through the communication channels on Lazada in order to disrupt the businesses of other sellers. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: producing or asking others to make fictitious orders or reviews in order to benefit you or to disadvantage others, and coercing, bribing, or blackmailing people into performing particular actions on your behalf.

Keep All Transactions Within Lazada’s Platform

This includes enticing the other party to engage in offline transactions outside of the Lazada platform, particularly if the transaction originated on the Lazada platform. It is not permitted to advise the other party that the sales transaction be redirected to another e-commerce platform.Unless otherwise specified, all payments for Lazada transactions must be done within the Lazada website.

Unless otherwise specified, all messages and information exchanged should take place through Lazada’s internal communication channels. If you own a physical business or sell on other platforms, you are not permitted to place a Lazada order on behalf of an offline customer.
